Congrats on your engagement! Planning your wedding is going to be a fun season but it can also be stressful. As a photographer, my goal is to make this part of the wedding planning process as simple and stress-free possible.

I have the privilege of working with incredible couples who value joyfully authentic, sophisticated and creative imagery that will outlast trends. Getting to know them more develops trust between us that allows me to capture their favorite images that come from candid wedding photography.

While I’m a photographer based in Raleigh, my passion for storytelling takes me to some of North Carolina’s most beautiful destinations including Wilmington, Charlotte and beyond.

Whether you're planning an intimate beachside ceremony, a garden celebration, or anything in between, I am available to travel wherever your story takes you. My goal is to ensure that every special moment is beautifully preserved, no matter where your dream wedding takes place.

Engagement sessions are a vital part of the wedding experience because they give couples the opportunity to connect with me before the big day. They are meant to be fun and relaxed for you to become comfortable in front of the camera. This experience results in beautiful photos and helps me understand your dynamic, ensuring that your wedding day is captured with the authenticity that represents you.

THE PROCESS

01.

After receiving your inquiry, we will have a consultation video call to chat about your wedding details and how I can provide the best photography experience for you. If after our chat we both feel that we would make a great match, then we will move onto the booking process!

Let’s Chat & Make Sure We’re A Good Fit

Through my client portal, I will send over a custom proposal based on the details from our consultation, a contract and invoice. Once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid you will officially be apart of the JAP family!

Save Your Date

After booking, we will work on scheduling your engagement session. It’s the only time we get to know each other and work together without any timeline pressures before the wedding day. This session is meant to be fun and allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera and with me.

To ensure that your day flows as best it can, I will work with your planner or coordinator to create a photography timeline that will work best for your day. This is the best way to ensure that you are getting the most out of their photography experience.

It’s time to celebrate! My goal on your wedding day is to tell your story by creating beautiful images that express your joy. With the help of the wedding resources I send, you'll be able to enjoy your day with family and friends to the fullest and I'll be ready to help with anything you need!

After the delivery of your photos through your online gallery, the final and perfect ending to your wedding experience is to receive your beautifully designed wedding album! I will work to design a layout that tells your story from beginning to end that you can cherish for years to come.

Every wedding and session I photograph is delivered via a beautiful online gallery. While these galleries are wonderful and convenient, they can also can make you forget how important printing your photos can be. Once the wedding is over, you’ll have nothing but your memories. Albums serve as your first family heirloom and can be customized to be a true piece of art that can be passed on to future generations.

FAQs

Do you travel for weddings? YES. If you are getting married outside of North Carolina, please don't hesitate to inquire!

How many images do you deliver? I always say I deliver quality over quantity. Everyone's wedding is different and a couple who has a completely custom floral design for their ceremony and reception is going to receive a lot more images than a couple who has a simple wedding or elopement. On average you can expect between 50-60 images per hour.

What is your pricing? I create a custom proposal for each couple who inquires because each wedding comes with its own unique set of needs. My couples invest between $5800 - $6800 on their experience. Inquire for more details or about elopements.

Do you offer videography services? I do not offer videography services but I am more than happy to share videographers who's work is amazing and who I love working with. If you are looking for other vendors, please include that in your inquiry and I'll be happy to send over my vendor recommendations that include everything from planners, to florists, to DJs.

What is the turn-around time for my full gallery? Turn-around time for a wedding takes between 6-8 weeks and up to 10 weeks during peak periods.
