We loved working with Jaclyn for our engagement session as well as on our big day! She was so sweet throughout our planning process and great to work with. She was always responsive with questions I had in preparation for our wedding and put together a detailed timeline in advance which was very helpful. She has a calming and welcoming presence which was appreciated. We LOVE the pictures that she captured and look forward to working with her again in the future. I think of it like being a great teacher; The most important thing is that you know the content well and can deliver it clearly, but there are SO MANY intangibles and soft skills that make a teacher great. As a wedding photographer, you obviously need to be able to take good pictures and deliver a quality product, but there are SO MANY other qualities that make you exceptional. Your professionalism, attitude, organization, generosity, calming presence, thinking 2 steps ahead, overall wedding knowledge, and willingness to go above and beyond made you an invaluable asset on our big day.
