Emily & Alex | North Carolina Museum of Art Engagement Photos
Today I’m sharing some highlights from Emily and Alex’s engagement session at the beautiful North Carolina Museum of Art! This park is one of my favorites for engagement sessions in Raleigh because it has a variety of locations to shoot at and I can always find great light in any season. Emily is a pediatric nurse while Alex works in tech and they are so sweet together. We had so much fun exploring different areas of the museum and getting them comfortable in front of the camera. This is one of the main reasons I offer engagement sessions. Getting comfortable and building trust with me before the wedding day is invaluable to the experience!
Our first location was the beautiful willow tree near the bridge and we slowly transitioned to the back of the main museum for an outfit change. Emily had such a unique engagement ring I knew I had to whip out my macro lens for it - and fun fact, she’s been using it as her phone’s screensaver since I delivered their sneak peeks!
These two will be celebrating their wedding at The Maxwell in June and have an incredible vendor team. I can’t wait to share that and her bridal session but in the mean time, enjoy a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
