Taylor and Jackie | Spring Engagement Photos in Hillsborough NC

I wish I was writing this in real time but if you’ve followed my Instagram for at least the past year you’ve seen these two before. You may even know that they now have beautiful little girl! The story of how Taylor and Jackie met is sweet - as is what I’ve seen from their relationship photographing their milestones.

Taylor inquired with me a few months before the wedding and I could tell from his email that he was eager and excited to get married to Jackie. If you don’t know, I send a series of questions to all of my wedding inquiries. It helps me get to know the couple just a little before our Zoom call. Some don’t answer the questions, some give answers that are short and sweet and others tell me EVERYTHING. This was Taylor. Here’s an excerpt of what he wrote on how they met:

Jackie and I met using Bumble back in August 2018. I paid $2 for the first time to "Super Like" her, and her mom was the one who swiped right on me. Our first date was at Duke Garden where we walked around and drank canned rosé. We went out on two more dates that week - to the Eno River and then Audio Under the Stars where we laid on blankets and listened to stories being told.”

If that isn’t sweet I don’t know what is! They got engaged the day before Thanksgiving while on a hike where Taylor popped the question at the top of the mountain and recorded the whole thing. After, they drank canned rose and called their families and friends to share the news.

I need not say too much more considering I’ll also be blogging their wedding soon. So here they are - some of my favorites from their engagement session. Enjoy!
