Tori & Mike | Downtown Raleigh and Dorothea Dix Park Engagement Session

Mike and Tori’s love story is so unique and special and I’m excited to share it with you today! I’ll let Tori tell you about a little bit in her own words.

“Mike and I met in 2017 in N'Djamena, Chad, where we were both working - he's in the military and I work with a medical humanitarian NGO. It was a pretty typical bar meet, but in a less typical place :) After about five months together abroad, we felt all-in so decided to get an apartment together in Raleigh. It was a little risky at the time, but it ended up working out in the best way.”

We met downtown in Raleigh, one of my favorite engagement session locations and a place close to their hearts, where we walked around and stopped for photos along the way. Our last stop was at Dorothea Dix park, another special place because the skyline would be incorporated into their wedding decor! I had so much fun with these two on this chilly day. They were troopers through it all and I’m so glad to have captured their day. Enjoy some of my favorites!
